Living in the Light …

When we came to the Lord … we came as we were. He accepted us in that state, knowing of the transformation that would take place. We walked from our dark disconnected place, into His cascading light. His desire, is that this light of life, will not only change and transform us, but will empower us to become His hands and feet, His love, mercy, and grace. We are to become, living demonstrations of who He was, and still is today.

There are people all around us, who are watching how we live. Do they see Jesus in me, and in you? Have we allowed His light, to penetrate deep within our hearts, exposing all that is contrary to who He is? His light shines forth, not to harm us, but to bless us.

As long as there are areas where darkness still resides, we are not totally surrendered. It starts, by inviting Him to have access. His light, will remove and expose, all areas that are not a good representation of who He is. Jesus is in the transformation business. Our lives were created to walk with God, talk with God, and have fellowship that the world desperately needs, and longs for. The truth is they just don’t know it yet.

  1. When they come will we be ready?
  2. Will we be the ones, who has spent the time, allowing Gods shining light to transform us?
  3. Have we set aside all that was holding us back, allowing an inner heart connection, that reflects His character, cleansing us from all unrighteousness?

We were called out of the world and its ways, … our darkness became light, and in that light, we were given a purpose, to shine it forth. That’s right, so they can see, what God has done, for you and for me.  We are to be a reflection to the world, that God is light, and in that light, it can change and transform us, into all that we have been called to be.

When we walk by faith it unlocks the world around us. The world walks by what it sees. We walk, by putting our confidence and trust in God and His word. Our relationship that we have cannot be broken due to circumstances. In fact, when we allow His principals to guide our lives, we will always be His lighthouse, for those who cannot see.

Prayer: Dear Lord, allow your light to shine deep within our hearts. Break it forth, and remove all that stands in the way, of us accomplishing, all that you have called us to be. Help us to be your light, and shine it forth wherever we go. Allow the world to see You in a most amazing way.

Verse: ‘For God, who said, “Let brilliant light shine out of darkness,” is the one who has cascaded his light into us—the brilliant dawning light of the glorious knowledge of God as we gaze into the face of Jesus Christ.’ (2 Corinthians 4:6 TPT)
