The Sprout of Vision …

There are many steps to watching a vision come to pass. For many of us we have never truly walked in the understanding of it. From start to finish, to the point in which it bears fruit, we need to follow the correct steps. A vision without understanding, is a recipe for a disastrous outcome.

God’s word brings us fresh insight as to how He sees a vision unfold. We can all have a vision, and although each vision can and most likely will be different, the process is the same. We must be willing to learn that He has a divine plan, that requires our participation. Then we must also be willing to recognize, how we are to take hold of our part.

When we receive spiritual insight of the vision, that is being imparted into our hearts, it establishes direction. By allowing it to take hold within the soil in our hearts, that we have been preparing, it will start to sprout forth. It will look seemingly insignificant, as the seed of faith breaks forth, and all you see is a tiny shoot.

Yet, this is the part that if not taken care of, will die due to lack of care. It requires prayer, and a oneness with the Lord, where it becomes developed, and over time becomes a strength within us. Anytime we receive anything from the Lord, we see at first dimly, and then overtime as we embrace the vision, it becomes clearer as to how we are to take hold of it.

We become stuck, when we try and sidestep the process. When we align ourselves to His vision, then we will learn, that each step is significant in our growth. We first must be willing to grow like a single shoot, before we become a tree. We in most cases want to be a tree, and forget about the tiny shoot. Our root system, if not properly rooted will fail. The first storm that comes, will topple any tree that has not an established root system, beneath the earth.

Where there is a single shoot above the ground, much more is happening beneath the surface, that will enable it to become established for the long haul. When you need it the most, your root system will be able to withstand the storm.

Dear Lord, help us to understand the importance of each part. As we allow you, the opportunity to work in our lives as you see fit, we will overtime become well established, lacking nothing. Help us to realize that to become a tree, we first start as a single shoot.

Verse: The whole earth sprouts newness and life in the springtime, and green shoots break through the well-seeded garden soil. That’s what it is like with the Eternal’s victory— the Lord will cause justice and praise to sprout up before all the nations, for all peoples to see. (Isaiah 61:11 Voice)
