Life & Death …
The hardest thing in life is during those moments, when the ink stops flowing. When everything you touch, seems like a journey. As you press forward in prayer, you come to the realization, that everything with in you wants to scream. You feel boxed in on all sides, as if you are being squeezed. The pressure is great, and the measure of patients left at this point, is minimal.
Yet to understand the fullness of what you are walking through the Lord whispers, I Am with you in this place. Then why does it feel so dry? During these moments, you want to lash out at everyone, and everything. The Lord knows the steps that He needs to walk us through, so we gain the upper hand over our soul.
Our Spirits, only have one desire, to glorify and bring honor to the Lord, with everything we say and do. Not so with our souls, they are looking for the quick gratification, make me feel good. Our souls, if not controlled by our spirits, become a free for all.
He disciplines those in whom He loves
The Lord trains those he loves. He is like a father who trains the son he is pleased with. (Proverbs 3:12 NIRV)
‘For the Father’s discipline comes only from his passionate love and pleasure for you. Even when it seems like his correction is harsh, it’s still better than any father on earth gives to his child.’ (Proverbs 3:12 TPT)
