V08 Take Action
The truth is, that without “Action” nothing changes. God’s word sets forth a promise of victory, but it requires action on our part. Honestly it never comes easy, and change always requires us to take it forth “By Faith”. Sounds easy enough. So why then, do we struggle the way we do, with taking that step forward?
Insecurity in the unseen, is a very real thing that we all face. Yet it is the very thing, that God requires of us. His word is living and active, and it has the power to divide the soul from the Spirit, with in a man. It enters into our deepest points, and reveals the hidden secrets, and thoughts within our hearts.
The main point is this, as hard as this process is, we are the ones who benefit from it. God already knows where we are at. Us on the other hand, without this process have no accurate gauge that allows us the ability to see the truth. So, God by His Spirit, penetrates deep within us, separating the soul from the spirit, and only then are we able to see clearly.
No small thing, when you understand how hard it is for us to define our lives, as we walk out our day-to-day lives. God sees our weakness, and knows that we are unaware of it. His mercy also sees, that if we don’t grow in these areas, we will remain weak and unstable. This process is designed to take us to the end of ourselves, so He can be shown strong on behalf of us.
Remember that it is His word, that causes us to even be able to activate it, and “Take Action” because of it. He receives the glory for our “Victories,” and we become dependant upon His power instead of our strength.
God’s vision for our lives, requires for us to come with a heart that has been forged in the fire, refined by His word. Where we have become submissive to the process, and lack nothing for the days ahead. This is what qualifies us … “In our weakness we are made strong”.
Prayer: Dear Lord your ways although difficult to understand, are designed to strengthen us. As we become strong in your ability, and weak in our own strength, you then send us forth to help others, to find their way to the process that brings life. We are grateful, that you see what we are unable to see. It is your care for us, that gives us the ability to see how we too can become strong. In your Strength we are made whole.
Verse: For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.
