Vo5 – Small Things

There is something about learning, keeping your eyes fixed upon what God has placed in your hands. In a society where we have access to so much, it is so easy to become distracted, by what someone else is doing. When we set our course to what we see, rather than, what we have already been given, we will never succeed. To be content is great gain. Learning to stay focused upon the “One Thing” requires just as much training. If you want to do big things for God, it starts with obedience, in the “Small Things”.

You will never get to where you are going by jumping into someone else’s calling and expect it to work out well. God entrusts His vision with those who have been good stewards, those who follow out His plans, managing what they have been given. The testing ground, is when you are in the midst of His plan, and yet you face all types of circumstances. Had you not been trained in the process, of what it takes, you would fail.

We are to persevere through all, knowing that the timeline of God is never late. As we learn to wait upon His timing, we see His plan unfold like a blueprint, like a master plan. These are the moments, when we execute His plans, here on earth. We only do what we see the Father doing. When we have been faithful, with a little, the bible declares that we will be put in charge of many things. This is how we are rewarded; it is being faithful with what has been placed in our hands. We end up celebrating together in a place of communion and intimacy … we are friends! “Let’s Celebrate Together”.

Prayer: Dear Lord, our friend, we are grateful for the ways that you choose to train us, into all that you have called us to be. Help us, learn to take hold of those things, that have been entrusted to us. Being faithful with a small thing, is really no small thing. Forgive us for the times where we have rushed ahead only to fail miserably. Your timing is such a gift. Your desire, is that we would rest in confidence, that at the right time, it will come forth and not delay.

Verse: ‘“Commending his servant, the master replied, ‘You have done well, and proven yourself to be my loyal and trustworthy servant. Because you have been a faithful steward to manage a small sum, now I will put you in charge of much, much more. You will experience the delight of your master, who will say to you, “Come celebrate with me!” (Matthew 25:21TPT)
