Acute Hearing …
The stillness within your hearts, gives you the ability to hear clearly. Have you learnt the art, of setting aside time, to be solely disconnected from all the noise? We need to be empowered, and infused with the Holy Spirit daily. We cannot live with out His direction, His promptings, His guidance in our day-to-day affairs. At first, it starts by recognizing what is distracting you. Then it is, learning to retrain yourself, to be watchful for these areas. Habits are hard to break, if you do-not understand that they are there.
Remember the Holy Spirit is there to teach you. A great place to start, is asking for help in discerning what areas need to be dealt with. You will be amazed at the answers you receive. You can’t be plugged into all the noise of the world, and clearly hear, Gods soft voice within you.
For us to walk with God, we must hear from God. Our hearts – our spirits, need to grab hold of this truth. It needs to be a high priority that we take hold of. Hearing His voice, needs to take precedence over everything that stands in the way. We cannot sidestep this piece. To walk in the fullness that He has for us, our identity, and purpose, there is no other way. Removing all that is hindering and holding us back, setting our sights on the destination, but not loosing sight of the journey before us. This journey will unlock the adventure of lifetime … make no mistake, God is really into, who you are.
We can become so busy doing, that we miss the hour, in which we were to receive the visitation. “Acute Hearing” is precision, it is sharp, it is insightful, it is discerning. It is hard to live life effectively, with out it.
Set time aside each day, with a purpose of stilling all the noise. Ask God to help you in this place, and He will. Ask that he would speak to you, and He will. The bible says, that those who seek God, find God. Take a pen and paper and just start to write down what you feel He might be saying. Remember, He is all about having a relationship with you. At first, it will seam really awkward, but over time you will start to really hear His voice in a most amazing way.
Prayer: Dear Lord, we are so grateful that you speak when we need it the most. We are so sorry for the times, when you have spoken, and because of our business, we missed what you said. Help us to walk in this place of communion with you, in our every day-to-day moment. Where we have crossed over to the other side, living a life that only you can provide. Help us to see, that we all have a promise land waiting for us.
Verse: ‘And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. (Jeremiah 29:13 NKJV)
