Building Strong Faith …
It takes faith to move a mountain. The dreams and visions that we carry never happen over night. We don’t go to sleep, and wake up with everything we dreamt or envisioned. The process is usually the opposite. God will first show you the things He is wanting you to take hold of. Once it has been received, He walks you to the furthest point, and then starts to walk you back towards, what you were originally shown. Dreams and visions, are always for an appointed time.
Faith is required to make it come forth. Faith is not there to make it easy, rather to change you in the process. When we put our confidence in God, verses our ability, things have a way of working out. Faith requires us to see it for what it is. We are not able to bring it forth, no matter how hard we try. The reason is that, it is before its time. The word of the Lord must be first tested, and then it can come forth. (‘God’s promise to Joseph, purged his character, until it was time for his dreams to come true. ‘Psalms 105:19)
Your trials and circumstances do not leave you in a place of defeat, but move you steadily towards the day, when you encounter the fulfillment of Gods word. We are required to nurture our faith. As we recite it over and over again, we learn to stand in the midst of the trials, knowing that if we refuse to quit, it will come to pass, just as the Lord said it would.
Faith is yours to own. No one else can help you with that. It requires you to take hold of it, and build it. As we continually press forward in our Daily Grind, that is, reading and hearing Gods word, we will start to walk in His truth. This will unlock our ability to grow in our faith. Victory is in all the hours, months, and years that it has taken to bring it forth, … Oh how sweet it is!!
Prayer: In our ability Dear Lord, we can not accomplish what you have set before us. Our strength does not qualify us; it is yours and yours alone, that we need. Please help us to understand your process. Help us to see the character that you are building up within us, so when the day approaches, we can walk forward in your Victory!!
