Why is it so important that we understand the power of having a vision? When we go through life without one, we are easily distracted and our priorities are easily swayed. We become distracted, because we lose sight to what is important to us. Getting disconnected from our life’s purpose, is due to lack of vision. Having a vision will never remove the distractions that we continually face, but it will inspire us to keep focused on what we have defined as important.

When we have clear insight of where we are going, we will be less distracted by all the other opportunities that come our way. Once we are not easily diverted, we are able to brush off all those things, that cling to us, holding us back. When our Vision goes from a rough draft, from hours of purposely writing, and rewriting, until it bears witness within our hearts. Then and only then, has the transition been made. Even during times of darkness, when we don’t see clearly, we are able to continually stay on course, being directed by the illuminating light from within.

Lets now incorporate God’s vision for your life into the equation; Do you know that He has a personal plan for your life, that only He can unfold? When we have prepared the soil within our hearts to receive from Him, the affections of our hearts are now towards Him. It is here, that He begins to unfold His vision, in a way that brings it to life.

When His Vision becomes our priority, we will set our sights, to what we clearly saw in the power of His illuminating Light. Even when we encounter obstacles, it will not detour us from the faith that we have. We will have the confidence, that God’s vision will succeed in our lives.

Prayer: Dear Lord, open up our eyes to see the beauty of our destinies. Help us to take the time to seek You out, and press into Your plans. We are asking for Your illuminating light, to shine forth guiding us as we go.

Verse: ‘I hear the Lord saying, “I will stay close to you, instructing and guiding you along the pathway for your life. I will advise you along the way and lead you forth with my eyes as your guide. (Psalms 32:8 TPT)
